Description of Forestbrooke

Forestbrooke subdivision is an established Ann Arbor neighborhood built in the early 1960's. The quiet, tree-lined streets feature modest homes on good sized lots that include ranches, cape cods, bi-levels, tri-levels, and colonials. The neighborhood offers a nice children's park, tennis courts, and woods. At the center of the subdivision is the Forestbrooke swim club, which has a competitive swim and dive team. Paid membership is available to anyone and open swim in the large, heated pool is every afternoon and evening during the summer months. Forestbrook has a great southeast Ann Arbor location within walking distance of Pittsfield Elementary, Scarlett Middle School, Arborland Mall, shopping, restaurants, and expressways.
